The EMDC Competition Team is by invitation only.

Dancers need to take Academy classes and have trained at EMDC for a few months to be selected for the team. 

The comp team trains multiple times a week, learning solos, duets, trios, and group dances which are then taken to various dance competitions around the country.

Our competitive style of training allows dancers to excel both in the studio and on stage, and competitions give dancers performance and stage experience. 

Competition days are great fun, where dancers perform on stage alongside other amazing dancers from around the UK, have the opportunity to win medals and trophies, take part in workshops, and meet some amazing dancers along the way!

The comp team also represents the studio at dance events such as MoveIt - the UK's biggest dance convention.

Our team currently holds numerous national titles and highest scoring awards from competitions across the country.
